When it comes to wooden signboards, the first thing we think of is log signboards. However, due to the issues on cost and maintenance, there are some restrictions on using logs on signboards. The vertical wooden signboard we produced this time was made up of 107 pieces of solid woods, with a total length of 8 meters, 2.6 meters high and weights 600 kg. The signboard was arranged in partition to create a unique style.

We cut half the thickness of the solid wood at the position of the logo, and then pasted the die cut board components on it. The half-cut part is painted with paints suitable for the outdoor usage in order to foster a sense of layer, creating a more distinctive logo on the signboard.

Below are some tips on making wooden signboards more durable for placing in the outdoor: it is recommended to use hard wood with high density such as oak; paint with wood protection paints to protect them against any weather conditions and ultraviolet rays, it also effectively prevents mildew, algae and fungi.

Besides, the erected signboards and billboards on the buildings must comply with strict guidelines. The distance between any parts of the signboard and the roof retaining wall is at least 1.5 meters, and the signboard cannot extend beyond the outer wall of the building.
